What an opening round that was last weekend! We saw fights at nearly every corner of the Red Bull Ring, and as exciting as that was to see, we had yet another three-wide down the front straight to grace us in 2026.

Here are the results for qualifying:
Jayden Harrison was back to his Qualifying form, but having upgraded his gear, Raymond Seebarran stepped up, and only three and a half tenths separated the Guyanese from the Jamaican.

The Guyanese trio of Zeyaad Razack, Raul Partab and Xavier Pratt closed out the top five for qualifying as Trinidadian, Domnic Charles was late to get his car under him and qualified outside of the top five, sixth on the grid.
Then came the race, and what an exciting one it would be. After switching from a standing start to a rolling start, Jamaican Jayden Harrison was swamped by nearly half of the field heading up to turn one. Trinidadian Dominic Charles would find better ground under the rolling start and find his way into the top five. Raymond Seebarran would do well to grab the lead and hang on to it for the better part of the race, but towards the end would have a major fall off in pace after the mandatory pitstop. Two new stars would be born that night when Guyanese Safeer Roshandin and Rashad Razack would display magnificent car control and discipline as they battled throughout the forty-five-minute ordeal.
Here are the results of the race, along with a short highlight reel of what went down.

After Round #1, these are the Drivers' Points Standing.
It's too soon to call; Jayden did have a fight on his hands against both the Guyanese of Raymond and Raul, and the Trinidadian, Dominic, who is essentially his teacher on the sim-scene, but you'll just have to tune in to tonight's event as they go head-to-head for Round #2 at Circuit Zandvoort.

Last but not least, let's take the time to appreciate our partners who have come on board with us for this championship. If it weren't for them, we would not be able to pay for the servers as easily as we have and offer this championship as a standalone trophy title for one year to the most outstanding competitor. They are none other than Darthan Investments and Subby's Sandwiches & Cafe. Both Guyanese establishments, but the partnership program is also open to the wider Caribbean. If you're interested in signing on, give us a call, WhatsApp us on 592 619 4485, or send us an email at CaribbeanSimRacing@gmail.com.
